Brad Pitt's production company Plan B Entertainment, under its Creative Partnership with Reliance BIG Entertainment, and Capcom, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, have come to terms on the film rights relating to "Dark Void," a new property from Capcom. The theatrical version of the "Dark Void" game is being developed as a sci-fi action franchise and potential starring vehicle for Pitt. A Peruvian gang that allegedly killed people and drained fat from their corpses for use in cosmetics may have been inspired by a grisly Andean legend. Hilarió Cudeña Simon, the alleged ringleader, linked the crimes to tales of demonic assassins, known as Pishtacos, who purportedly waylaid victims in pre-Colombian times, police said. Ten years ago this week, "Fight Club" was released to theaters. I was there on that opening weekend, sure I'd see something special, and I wasn't wrong. Like few movies in my life, "Fight Club" seemed to reach right down into my brain and scratch a nagging itch I didn't know was there.

Daniel Radcliffe has made a "major donation" to The Trevor Project, a non-profit organization that operates the only nationwide, around-the-clock crisis and suicide prevention helpline for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth. Continuing their long history of charitable and humanitarian donations, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie donated $1 million, along with Pitt's brother Doug, to St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. The money will be used to build a cancer treatment center.
